Off with the old and on with the new...

Today I went to the Royal Children's Hospital to have my hip spica removed. It was a bit smelly so was a welcome relief to have it taken off. I had to have a general anaesthetic so that I could stay still while they put another one on me. My new one only covers my legs and I have a bar down the bottom to keep my legs apart. Not very lady like!
At 6am this morning, I was a bit tired but excited to be getting rid of this heavy cast.

Yay! Now I can sit up by myself again. Mum and Dad say that it is funny to cuddle me now because I feel so skinny. This cast looks much bigger than it really is so stay tuned for more photo's!
