Off with the old and on with the new...

Today I went to the Royal Children's Hospital to have my hip spica removed. It was a bit smelly so was a welcome relief to have it taken off. I had to have a general anaesthetic so that I could stay still while they put another one on me. My new one only covers my legs and I have a bar down the bottom to keep my legs apart. Not very lady like!
At 6am this morning, I was a bit tired but excited to be getting rid of this heavy cast.

Yay! Now I can sit up by myself again. Mum and Dad say that it is funny to cuddle me now because I feel so skinny. This cast looks much bigger than it really is so stay tuned for more photo's!

Gorgeous Girl

9 months old and as cheeky as ever!

Brighton Beach

Another hot day and our last in Adelaide. Before heading to the airport we went down to Brighton Beach. We had some lunch and and ice-cream before putting my little toes in the water. I loved the sound that the waves made!

Tessa and Abbey

Thank goodness that someone could play with me.... Tessa was great at playing peek a boo. I don't look very interested in this photo but she made me giggle lots.

Me and Abbey....

Hunter Beau

Hunter Beau was the smallest of all the babies that I met on the weekend. We drove to Loxton from Adelaide just so that we could all give him and his mum kate some cuddles. It was sooo hot but I didn't mind, maybe I take after my dad.
Hunter had just woken up from his sleep. He was going to a wedding so he needed all the energy that he could get to ensure that he smiled at everyone that had a nurse of him.

As you can see, I was very excited to meet him. He was so tiny... hopefully next time he will be able to play with me.

Jacob William

We went to Shaz's house for lunch one day to meet Jacob. Shaz cooked a great meal (well, so mum told me anyway) Jacob was a bit bigger than Hunter but he wouldn't play with me either!

A cuddle for Jacob!

Hunter Jay

This is Hunter Jay. He is my Mum's friend Leonie's first baby. I thought he was so cool. I didn't quite understand why he wouldn't play with me.... I was a bit rough and scratched him 3 times across his forehead! Oops

Me and Leonie sitting on the edge of her new pool. It was such a bugger that i could not go for a swim. Mum said when my cast comes off that we will visit Hunter again so that we can go swimming together.

Hunter's hat was a bit small for me!

My first plane ride!

Last weekend Mum, Nana and me went to Adelaide for 5 days. This was the first plane ride ever and I was such a good girl. I sat ever so nicely on mum's knee and didn't grizzle once! 3 of mum's friends have just had their first baby's so I guess that means that i have 3 new friends!

Melbourne Cup!

Dad thought it would be a great idea for me to choose my own horse to bet on for the melbourne cup.....

And this was the lucky winner.... shame it was not so lucky in the actual race!

A weekend away.

Mum, Dad and I spent a weekend down at Safety Beach. We stayed at Uncle Paul's beach house and the weather was freezing!!
It was so cold that we could not leave the house for a whole day! Mum said that it was just good to be able to sit and relax....so that's what we did.
On the second day we ventured down to the beach to play bocie and watch my silly dad go for a swim!

Our attempt at a family photo was taken before the dip in the ocean.

We went for a drive to murrays lookout....the views were amazing but it was still freezing!

I still had a great time!

Playtime in Mum and Dad's bed

Cheesy smiles!

Charlotte Emily

Welcome to the world little Charlotte Emily Ingles!
Last night Mum and Dad took me to see another little Charlotte. She wasn't very old and very little!. Mum said she can't even remember me being so small or when it was that I actually grew into a real little girl.

Dad cuddling baby Charlotte while I got held from her mum, Jen.

Baby Charlotte and me....

Jen looked so beautiful that I could not stop looking at her! She was very lucky because she got to stay at the Park Hyatt before going home.... it was lovely!

Antagonizing Charlotte

It started off with lots of laughing and friendly cuddling......
even some kisses too.....
then I had had enough and was trying to get away....
but hamish had other ideas and kept pulling me back towards him.

So then he jumped on top of me to be sure I wouldn't get away!

He thought it was great fun....

All I can say is 'look out baby P'!
