Hawthorn Family Day!

Yesterday Mum took Hamish down to Glenferrie Oval for the Hawthorn Football Club Family Day. Unfortunately I was feeling a little unwell so I stayed home with my Dad.
Mum and Hamish! They said that they had so much fun....

There were food stalls, entertainment and loads of kids rides for everyone to enjoy!

Hamish in the Merry-Go-Round cars!

Rick Ladson signing his autograph. Hamish got lots of signatures on his footy jumper and Mum even took my new guernsey with her and got over 13 or 14 signatures for me!!

This is Campbell Brown in the "Dunk em" tank. If you made a gold coin donation you got the chance to throw a tennis ball at the target in an effort to dunk the footballer!

After waiting in line for about 45 minutes Hamish and Mum got signatures from several of the Hawks footballers all at once. Jarrod Roughhead was really nice to Hamish...... He asked him how is day was going and even called him 'Champ!'. He is so lucky!!

Unfortunately this was the only sighting that was made of Buddy Franklin! At least is was something!!
GO HAWKS!!

Happy 2nd Birthday Charlotte!

Saturday was my 2nd birthday!! When I woke up this is what i saw....
Loads of presents! I am such a spoilt little girl!
Dad and I opening one of my many presents
This is just a little taste of some of the awesome presents that I received!
Later in the morning Mum and Dad took me to a play centre and Hamish and Uncle Drew met us there. We had an absolute ball! Below are some snaps....
Birthday Girl!
After my sleep I got all dressed up like a princess ready for my cake!
My Mum went all out this year and made me a Dorothy the Dinosaur cake! It really did look like Dorothy too!
Hamish came to help me celebrate....
and so did my best friend Lucas!
Aunty Sam and Isabella also sang Happy Birthday to me.
My cake was so delicious...
every mouthful...
just got better and better!
Sam, Drew, Hamish and Bella gave me this vacuum and dust buster. It is a real hit!
Mum, Dad and Nana Margaret bought me this trampoline! (and yes, this is my 3rd outfit for the day.... The Westbrook's bought it for me! My Mum said that it reminds her of something she used to wear!)
Me opening more presents!!
My very first sleep over.... Hamish got to sleep on the trundle bed in my room!
And we did not even mess around. We were both out like a light!!

Wash time for Harvey!

Hot Date!

The deal is..... on the last Friday of every 2nd month Mum and Dad have the opportunity to go out on the town without me in tow. This was their first date and they decided to head out for a bite to eat and some bowling!

A family snap before the night started!

The happy couple!

The restaurant of choice....

and the beer of choice too!

The bowling shoes took a back step in comparison to our last bowling session!

But Dad's action only improved.... Poor Mum!

Although the score just didn't look too bad!

The Aquarium

On the weekend Mum and Dad took me on an adventure to the Aquarium. I saw so many animals that I had only ever read about in books! Not only did they have fish there but they also had spiders and scorpions! (Mum is still trying to work out where in the ocean those creatures feature!)
The Antarctica Feature!
Happy Feet

Lots of Happy Feet!

Dad and me looking on with enthusiasm!

This was a monstrous fish! Way bigger than Nemo!

The viewing room.... I'm not too sure who was more excited about it!

Funnily enough we happened to run into Leon and Jac while we were there! This is me, Chloe and Matty looking for as many fish as we can find!

My Favorite was the turtles,

the aeroplane that had crashed into the water....

the water python!

and the jelly fish!

The Schumachers! Jac, Matty, Chloe and Leon.

A family photo!

We saw some bigger creatures too but unfortunately they were not real. Just the skeleton of a dolphin...
and a paper mache shark!

At the end of the tour there was a playground for the kids with loads of rides that all resembles creatures from the ocean.

There was even a submarine!
Thanks Mum and Dad for my Sunday adventure!
