In Honour..... Happy Birthday Dave!
Yesterday would have been Dave's Birthday so we all decided to take Mum out for a bite to eat and a bit of fun! Sam decided that bowling would be the way to go because at least it would be air conditioned!
The shoes have slightly improved since the last time we bowled!
Hamish wanted to join in on the fun and also bowl. This is he being fitted with the groovy shoes!
Nana Margaret waiting in anticipation for her first turn. I wonder how she will go!!!!
He he he..
Mum and Dad enjoying the day!
Finally it was my turn! Well, I put the shoes on anyway!
We hope Dave had a happy birthday wherever he is!
My Dad also known as Uncle Mark!
Charlotte's new room!
During the week my new bedroom furniture was delivered and Mum and Dad decided that it was time for me to go into a big bed! Not only was I going into a big bed but I was also moving rooms! So much change but I am coping with it just fine!
Dad hard at work moving my blind from 1 room to another.....
This face did not last long when he realised that he had put the blind on backwards and Mum would not let him leave it like that....
Grampians
While we were in Ararat we decided to take a day trip to the Grampians. First port of call was the wildlife zoo.
This poor car copt a battering from a very aggressive pecking peacock! Oh, how beautiful he thought he looked in his own reflection!
Toot toot! Hey, this car is not red!
Me and dad having a ball!!
Next port of call was Lake Bellfield. This is a large man made lake that also sports the remains of the original town of Halls Gap. Mum and Shaz thought this was so interesting as you can still see the old stumps of the pub and the swimming pool!

Time for lunch! We headed into the 'new' Halls Gap for some delicious chicken and salad rolls (thanks Maz and Stan!) then some play time in the park.
Me, Jacob and Kira on the sea-saw!
Jacob really liked Kira!
Even my Dad wanted to get a piece of the fun!
Check me out going down the slide all on my own! I am so clever and so brave!!
After lunch saw us heading to the Zumpsteins to check out the Kangaroos!
Mum and Shaz were both very disappointed with what we saw. It all seemed very unloved and of course dead. (that is what happens in a drought!) The saddest thing is that we did not even see 1 kangaroo!!
Jacob and I still had loads of fun checking out the lookout points!!
Our final stop was at Mackenzie Falls!
Mackenzie Falls!
I just took a short stroll around the look out point and look what I saw.....
The beautiful Jacob enjoyed his day in the Grampians!
